Frequently asked questions
Because the variant is (nearly) sold out — not because demand dropped. Trending recalculates the suggestion on a faster clock (the average of your comparison window and the last three days). With no stock left there is nothing to sell, so the number collapses. Check the In stock column first: near zero stock, trust the regular Order Quantity; healthy stock with low trending means genuine cooling down — order less.
First check your period length — on windows shorter than about 30 days the rate is usually distorted, not rising. Returns arrive one to two weeks after the sale, so a short window counts this week's returns against this week's few sales. Still high on 30+ days? Compare Return rate in period against Return rate since start: both high is a product problem (fit, fabric, photos); only the period high means something changed recently — a new batch, photo or ad audience.
